Turning my Art into Embroidery
I worked for a professional embroidery shop for 10 years, where we embroidered huge orders of garments for Under Armour and hospitals every day, as well as school sports teams and small businesses. It was a great learning experience and made me want to use the machine embroidery medium to create my own visions! In 2014 I finally bought my own professional embroidery machine. I knew a little bit about digitizing (the art of taking your original image and turning it into a program file for the embroidery machine) from my time at the embroidery shop, but have since learned a lot more by hands-on trial and error. I love being able to put my artwork on usable items, like bags, pillows, garments, and I have a lot of fun making plush creatures, cat toys, fairy wings and quilts! My embroidered items are available at my in-person shows, and also through my Etsy shop. I am always open to custom embroidery projects, from business logos to special occasion gifts, message me through my Etsy store for custom orders!
Pixie Pets
I have learned to create my own small plushie creatures, and I call them "Pixie Pets" I sell them at shows and sometimes in my Etsy shop. If you see one that's not listed in my Etsy shop but you really want it, you can message me through Etsy and I can make one for you. I tend to sell out of them very quickly at shows, so my stock is ever-changing. I am happy to make you one on-order!
Fan Favorites
I am a certified Geek-Girl, so I have made many fandom-specific embroidery items. I don't sell these on my Etsy except by custom order for copyright reasons, and I usually only take a small quantity to fan conventions to sell in person.
